I love telling a story through my photographs and creating an effortless and fun environment for every family that I meet.


Welcome to my site! I love all things creative, whether that be crocheting, painting, drawing, and you guessed it! Photography! I have been taking photos ever since I got my first point and shoot camera in high school. I have loved photography ever since. When I'm not taking photos, you can find me spending time with my toddler and husband. We love to spend most of our time at the Oregon Coast, surfing, and relaxing in the sand! I also enjoy binge watching reality tv shows like the Bachelorette and 90 Day Fiancée.


I encourage outdoor destinations, whether that be the coast (which is my all time favorite place to photograph) or any beautiful outdoor space. But I also enjoy intimate, at home sessions as well! I may feel more comfortable behind the camera, but I love to make YOU feel amazing! My goal is to help you let loose and have fun. I love to capture your family dynamic naturally, without the pressure of having to pose for every single picture.

Kara was a dream to work with. She was interactive with our kids and helped get the perfect shots. Kara was punctual, communicative, and friendly. The photos are beautiful and exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Kara!
